This edition also publishes many colour photographs for the first time.
It covers the wide spectrum of holiday and local traffic and Sheringham station is shown in the early 1960s as well as two steam rail tours operated by the burgeoning M&GN Joint Railway Society.
M&GN in Colour has been planned as a short series of booklets using for the first time ever only colour photographs of The Midland and Great Northern and Great Northern Joint Railway in all its guises including The Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Taken as a whole the series covers from before the Second World War up to 1970 and will show how the railway looked and describe the features and equipment that made it one of the most unique in Britain.
Each Photograph has a detailed caption and there are occasional information panels giving amore general view of the line and putting the photographs in context Size 170mm x 240mm.
