“The Sidings” café and bar, the station museum and shop are open throughout the week. Pop along for a cuppa and cake, or a pint and a meal. A warm welcome is guaranteed! We have a sunny, enclosed rear garden, perfect for relaxing. Railway enthusiasts and families alike will want to make the most of their weekend visit with a train ride along our track.

Opening times
Monday: Closed
Tues – Thursday: 10am – 4pm (Food served 11am-3pm)
Fridays: 10am – 9pm*
Weekends: 10am – 6pm
The carpark will be locked at 15 minutes after closing time, so please plan your walk or visit accordingly.
*Our kitchen will close 1 hour before closing times.
If the weather is bad then we may close early or not open, please ring for further information on these sort of days.
Please note: Opening times can be subject to change when we have a function on – feel free to call 01603 871694 in advance to check details. Opening times are extended on our Classic Car evenings (every 2nd and 4th Wednesday) and for Reepham Photographic meetings (every 1st and 3rd Thursday).

Train timetable
Diesel Days:
Diesel engines run each weekend except when a steam service is running. They run to a coded timetable:

Steam Sundays
(1st Sunday in the month and Sundays of Bank Holidays:)
We run a half hourly public service from 12.30 – 4pm (4.30pm in the summer).

Prices
Entry to the site is completely free, except on special gala days – please see our events pages for details.
Train Tickets:
Tickets to ride on the train can be purchased on site.
Rides cost £5 per adult, £3 per child* and £10 for a family**.
Train rides are free for members.
** Family: Two adults and up to three children or One adult with up to three children.

Disabled access
The railway station is on a mainly level site, with a concrete driveway and areas with a layer of very small granite chippings that do not significantly impair mobility. Access to some areas is by ramp or steps. There is a dedicated disabled toilet.
